Dyno Tuning

Definition: “Dynamometers are useful in the development and refinement of modern day engine technology. The concept is to use a dyno to measure and compare power transfer at different points on a vehicle, thus allowing the engine or drive train to be modified to get more efficient power transfer.”

R.P.E has a 2wd in ground chassis ‘Eddy Current brake’ dyno that can do all applications for cars- RWD + FWD and bikes, including trikes and sidecars. A brake dyno is superior because it is able to hold steady state load conditions to calibrate air to fuel ratio and ignition timing.

 We can give you economical performance and fine tune to get the maximum out of your vehicle with incorporating a detailed investigation as to why you engine is not running efficiently or at all.

 All our engines that we rebuild, we dyno and we can install aftermarket ECU’s and EFI systems. We can tune that after market EFI system or just do a dyno run for Horse power + torque graph, air-fuel ratio specs etc.

We are a Haltech distributor and installer for aftermarket management systems.
We can do very low cars that are of car show quality because our dyno is built in the ground so it’s very accessible.
